The advanced design of the Swagelok FKB series ball valve reduces seal wear and improves the reliability of connections across a full range of operating pressures (up to 20 000 pisg or 1378 bar) and temperatures. The trunnion-style ball features an innovative direct-load design to enable leak tight performance and a bottom-loaded stem design to eliminate stem blowout, protecting operators.

FKB series valves are available with female NPT end connections and gaugable Swagelok medium-pressure tube fitting end connections that reduce valve installation time and cost while providing robust tube grip and vibration resistance. CTB series valves are also available in two-way (bidirectional) or three-way (common-side or bottom-inlet port) configurations with flow coefficients ranging from 0.44 to 11.3. They can be configured with an ISO 5211-compliant pneumatic actuator and for "low emissions" certification per API 641.

Three orifice sizes are available (6FKB, 8FKB, and 12FKB series) and end connection sizes range from 1/4 in. to 1 in. Mounting options include panel mounting using an optional panel nut, two bolts through a panel into the top of the valve body, or bolting through body mounting holes with dual bolt patterns for OEM valve replacement.
